OVO Bikes and ScottishPower e-bikes are powered and operated by nextbike UK, a subsidiary of nextbike GmbH, the European leader in bike sharing. We have been providing a sustainable way to get around Glasgow since 2014 and are proud to support green transportation around the city for COP26.
Take advantage of the offers below and help us reach our goal to save as much CO2 as we can during this year's climate conference! All of the kilometres we ride together in all of our schemes will count toward this goal.
Join us and #Ride4Climate.

Our local service team works tirelessly to maintain a balanced bike share system that's ready for everyone to use. To help them keep bikes available for all riders, bikes have to be returned to an official station.
Any bike returned outside an official station will be subject to a £10 / £20 (standard / e-bike) fine. This will increase to £20 / £30 for a second offence and £30 / £40 for the third offence. If a customer returns a nextbike incorrectly more than three times, unfortunately their account will be closed.
Nextbike reserves the right to charge up to £200 (standard bikes) and £500 (e-bikes) for vandalised or stolen bikes due to any negligent behaviour.
If you have an OVO Bikes membership, you now get 30 free minutes on top of the 30 minute rentals included in your membership. That means you can ride for 60 minutes on standard bikes for free during COP26 if you have a membership.
ScottishPower e-bikes are not included in the membership and will be charged at the standard rate after the free 10 minutes are up.
