While the weather outside is still frightful, we thought we’d take this chance to make our bikes even better for you for the spring. From Friday, December 10th to Monday, January 17th, nextbikes will be taken off the streets to be cleaned and serviced. We hope many of you will be cosy inside for warm holiday traditions but if you are planning to travel during this time, please keep in mind that nextbikes will not be available to rent.
Important Questions & Answers:
When will the bikes be back and how long will they be away?
The bikes will be unavailable starting on the 10th of December, 2021 and will return on the 17th of January, 2022.
Do all nextbikes need to be returned?
As pretty as they are, all bikes need to be returned to a station so we can collect them for maintenance. Please don’t keep a nextbike as this could lead to a lost or stolen bike charge.
What will happen to my membership?
Memberships will be paused for the month and restarted once the bikes have returned to service.
Although we believe that biking is a great way to stay warm in these cold winter months, the safety of our riders is paramount. We know cycling is a way of life and we will be sure to bring the bikes back quickly and better than before. Check on our website and make sure push notifications are activated for the nextbike app to get any updates.
