Stirling Bikes are Back - With Reduced Availability

Even hardened aluminium needs love sometimes. After being temporarily pulled from service for routine maintenance, nextbikes are back and ready to rent in Stirling. We also took this brief hiatus to adjust the station network and focus on those with the highest usage. This means the now-shinier nextbikes will be available at most hot spots but the total number of stations has been affected.

Current open stations are:

• Wallace High School
• Old Stirling Bridge
• Causewayhead Roundabout
• Bridge of Allan
• Cotrell Building, University of Stirling
• Willow Court Residences, University of Stirling
• Stirling Train Station
• Alexander Court Residences, University of Stirling

With these changes, please be mindful to only return bikes to active stations, as returning to closed ones could lead to an out of station charge. You can check for active stations on your app’s map.

The safety and experience of our riders is always our primary concern. We hope these changes in service have a minimal impact on your ride, but it’s always better to be informed. Check on our website and make sure push notifications are activated for the nextbike app to get any updates.
